Default 1/4 scale MIG3

This year I will be making kits for the MIG3 1/4 scale airplane. I have been working on this for a while next to my P40E Warhawk (another thread) also in 1/4 scale.
The MIG 3 has a wingspan of 100" and is constructed in fiberglass and carbon fiber. I will described later what is all included. Right now I am getting the molds cleaned up and preparing them for production.

The new Mig3 construction will have all composite parts Gel coated and carbon fiber reinforced. The wing center section is molded in one piece with the fuselage.

That gives more strength to the overall construction and makes field assembly and transportation easy. The wing spar (or wing tube) will be already built in place by us
All you have to do is to build your outer wing panels and install your electronics. The fuselage is constructed in two piece for easy installation of tail gear, and shipping purpose.

Once you have your tail gear installed you simply epoxy halves together.

Here is a list of what you will receive with the 1/4 Scale Mig3 kit. Wingspan is 100"

Gel coated composite fuselage (2 piece)
Gel coated composite horizontal stabilizer
Belly pan
Composite flaps
Gel coated composite cowl (split)
Canopy
Foam core wings
Wood for built up wings (optional)
Wood for built up rudder, elevator and ailerons
Wing tubes for horizontal stabilizer and wings

Features:
Removable horizontal stabilizer
Composite fiberglass and carbon fiber constructed parts
Split cowl
Scale details such as panel lines
Plans for wing construction, elevator, and rudder

One fast question for you. If someone wanted a kit without gelcoat, would you be willing to produce one that way?

I can do plain epoxy parts, or primed in mold epoxy parts as well.

Default 1/4 scale MIG 3

First composite MIG3 out of mold. Some cleaning and sanding and priming would be next. Tail section will be glued to main fuselage once tail gear is installed. Meanwhile working on composite horizontal stabilizers, wings and scale retract doors. I might even do composite elevators, rudder and ailerons with a scale appearance. This particular plane will be shipped to a customer overseas when done. Kits are available if interested.
