Default P-47 Instrument panel questions

P-47 experts, I'm gathering the information needed to start my first USAF illustration.
First in a long line of questions regarding the P-47 relates to the instrument panel shape:
I have come across two basic types/shapes (possible there are more) Please see attached.
Would I be corrected in assuming the one featuring the yellow line is for laters Mk's?
USAF beginner here chaps, Anyone know the definitive source for more information?
Thanks in advance.

Whoops, forgot the picture.
BTW... I'm talking about the physical instrument panel, not the instruments

In my opinion the one on right side is the right or most common shape. Also AirCorps Aviation present that shape in their blueprints.

Prekin, thanks for that.
You know, on closer inspection I think you're correct, the one on the right does look like a later version.
Great heads up on that company lead. Really appriciate it.

I believe the instrument panel on the left is from a late-war P-47N model Thunderbolt while the other is from an earlier (and more common) version.

Chad, thanks for you reply and it certainly looks like youre making the correct assumption.
From what I've been finding out, it's mainely the instrument layout, plus some discreate panel shape changes that define the MK's
The both the panels are showing more or less the same later-MK instrumentation so it's certainly not from an early version.
That leaves only one option.
The good news is the one on the right with the add-on warnings is a far more interesting subject to illustrate.

Cheers David.

Agreed, and that is the one I chose to duplicate for my 1/6th scale P-47 cockpit kit. More common and more interesting to look at, win-win.

The 9 o'clock switch panel did not seem to be present on all P-47's so I did not include it in my kit. Regarding the "one dial appendage" asked about I am not sure which item you are referring to, sorry.
