Sent Gator RC pictures and asking them for help on Wednesday the 25th; haven't heard a peep from him yet.

Got an e-mail from Gator RC on Friday; they said that they sent the wrong unit and are sending the correct one out.

Have been getting some fuse wiring done while trying to keep things up and away from the fuel tank.

Elevator connections

Batt compartment and pin and flag switch.

Didn't want any switches or lights on the outside of the plane, so I tried to find an interesting spot to still be able to see the ignition light with the hatch on. The video looked better, but I couldn't figure out how to upload it. The light illuminates the bottom of the bomb sight.

I'm not planning on scale competition with this plane, so the more I think about it, no. If I change my mind, I will probably do a magnetic closing slider only, with no actuator servo. How about you Mike?

Men that nice I would love to buy one of you. Building the same p-47 with the 155cc.

Colt,
Not sure how to build in the sliding canopy so I will more than like just screw mine on.
BTW as an update they sent the same jack screw as they did before; I packed up both of them along with the defunct one for my P-47 and sent it back with a note; sheeeeeeeesh.

Me personally I don’t think the USM 100 would be enough power for that P47 because mines came in at 42# dry and had to add 1# of weight to the tail but if the UMS100 fly it it would be at scale 🤷🏾‍♂️ Just my belief.

The UMS150 fits very well but you got to cut small holes for cylinders 2 and 5 valves clearance

My P47 is ready at last! Ums150 fits well, no holes in the cowl, printed my own scoop to suit. Hopefully some pictures below 🙂

looks great amigo. Mind if I get a copy of the file for the scoop? My buddy has a printer I can use or I’d be happy to compensate you for your time and material. Glad to see the 150 fits well and can’t wait to hear about first flights.
