Default ARF P-51D around 81 inches wingspan?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of an ARF P-51D with decent lines (and preferably real retract selection)? I need a particular scale as close to 1/5.75 as I can get.

78 to 81 inch span would be ideal. As close to the Platt P-51 size.

I don't really care about the finish or surface detail, I plan to recover it. I am most concern with the outside lines

THanks very much,
Matt

Century Jet Models used to have a really nice P-51D with a 82" ws, glass fuse and foam core wing and tail feathers. I'm not sure if it is still available tho. The only other nice P-51D ARF is the Horizon Hobby which is a true ARF, but the ws is 89". From what I've read and seen it's one of the best out there. It flies really well too.

Yes thanks I talked to the new century jet guy several weeks ago. He said end of summer we will see. It's the right size for sure and decent reviews. No offense I will be getting the landing gear from somewhere else...

After almost three years can we really call him the "new" owner? Gotta be the slowest relaunch in RC business history

But Yeah,, relaunching the kits would be great if it ever happens,,, rehabbing the customer service reputation when it comes to the gear will be difficult
