Default Toprc p47 thunderbolt exhaust cannisters installation

Hi. Just purchased a toprc p47 thunderbolt - bonnie. I will install a DLA112 twin boxer gas engine in it but I want to also install the two cannisters, which were installed on that engine on my retired yak54(attached photo).
Now, in order for the cannisters to be installed, a hatch(hole) must be cut on the lower side of the firewall (attached photo), so the canisters to be inserted into the fuse. If so, the cannisters will be somewhere under the central panel of the plane, where all electronics and doors servo and fuel tank will be.
My question is :
Has anybody done this cannister installation before
In case the cannisters fits well, will the heat be a problem?
Will the hole/hatch weaken the fus?
I really wat to do that installation, so any ideas, tips or advice are welcome.
