Thanks for taking us another season of flying adventure for those of us who cannot get out much. I always look forward to your pictures.

Airplane auction.
Went to an airplane auction only a few miles from my house.

The auction was hosted by GCRCC club and headed by Randy.
All proceeds went to charity and they raised about $7,600.

Must of been about 50 people at the auction.

Nice that all the planes were outside so easy to look at and take home.
Must of been about 100 planes plus accessories.
The original owner had a very eclectic taste as there was a plane for just about any genre one was interested in.

Bought 4 planes.

The Gilmore has the cowl, wheel cover and engine to the right of the plane.
I do not know the manufacturers of the Gilmore so if you recognize them let me know!

The Gilmore is all wood.
The plane is very light.

The corsair is a Ziroli and has a Saito 450 3 cylinder engine.

Robart retracts.

I do not know the manufacturer of the P-40.
If you know please post.

I'll have to buy what looks like Robart retracts as one gear is misssing.

The Zero is a Top RC and has a twin engine.

Flying season is over so these planes won't get any TLC until Spring.
Just stored them in my detached shop.

Ran out of room so the P-40 is in the trailer.

Also, purchased 5 'Dremel' tools.

The Gilmore looks like it could be the Black Horse model and the P-40 was made by Skyshark. Not sure who made the Zero but it does not look like a Top RC model. At least not like the Top RC Zero that I had!

Chad,
Thanks for the info.
I'll save that info for when I get a better 'look' at the planes.
I was guessing at the Zero as it looked like those that I've seen at flyins.
