Got things glue back together and waiting for the primer to dry. I'll have to give it a good wet sand then fill some pin holes.
Were moving right along.

John is a newlywed. He don't have time for building. Besides did you ever see any video of him flying. He is good and won't stay home to build when he can fly. He will go back to building when the weather sucks.
Besides What I got done today was the fast and easy part. The slow part starts tomorrow.

LOL..........you don't know John very well. Typically he'll pull up to the flying site. Open his trailer and then sit in his chair and shoot the ****. He will bust out the HK heli and Parkzone T28 though.
Though this year has been better. He has been flying a little more.

It's been raining all day. Gave me a chance to fix things up in a short time.
Gona let the paint cure for a couple of days and then finish balancing it.

I had to go to the LHS to pick up some ply today. I managed to figure out where to put the receiver batteries. Don't quite have it figured out where to put the ignition batterie because of the heat from the muffler. The guides for the Cowl mounting screws are getting in my way. The Box is for the lead counterbalance. You guys don't know how much it is wearing on me to put lead in my plane. It will be the first time that I have ever had to do it to balance a plane.[:@]

good work there Tom,
mate of mine just had to add nearly 3lbs to the nose of his 90" Mk XIV Spit, he was not impressed as it ballooned out to 30 lbs.

It hurt me to do the same thing.....but I keep reminding myself that the scale engine was heavy and the nose is close to the CG.......it didn't help though

I worked a little on the led box. Here is the Idea I had for moving the batteries forward as much as possible. I'll have to re do the 2 top guide straws for the cowl mounting screws.

Yer killing me Tom! When do we get to see some glamour shots of your Jug all assembled? The airplane looks great and the scheme is one of my favorites.

My bad Tom, I missed that post somehow. Still, I'll take more when you got 'em! Great looking Jug, best of luck with it.
