That thing wouldn't work worth a ''Hoot'' up here! Power, you need P-O-W-E-R here on the Tundra!
We're mostly all modelers here. I'm sure we can come up with a power sistem for Bob to use. If not then we can send it to Pete and he can push the sand around on the beach.

Tom,
thanks mate. I would be more so if my ex wife would stop playing games in relation to access to my boy. Makes me very pissed off! [>:]

Anyway hoping she will pull her head in and realise her actions are hurting the boy.

Have 2 weeks off from Friday so will have a crack at getting the 47 ready to paint. humidity will prob stop any painint though mate of mine from here Dave, aka ticketec reckons he can show me how to paint in high humidity.

Cheers
Peter

Dave must know about waterbased paints. Putting the color on is when it becomes fun.

been fidding withthe retracts on the P47, not happy with the rake angle as the wheel has far too much toe in. Will modify how the gear door sits on the leg as at present it is not 90 degrees. If I can fix that then I can twist the leg and the toe in will be minimal which is what I want.

Just something to annoy me, not hard to fix.

Now while I have been musing over that little issue I have decided to re-engine the Seafury from the G62 to the GT-80 I got for it.

Pulled the old engine off last night and had to totaly redo the steel plate mount which required welding and cutting a large piece out to cate for the sping and the carb.

Engine is fitted now but as I'm also converting the GT-80 to electronic igntion I have to get the prop hub and magneto pickup hub off. Have not done one before so a mate is coming over tomorrow to help. He is an ex RAAF sumpy so should be able to do it.

Some pics for a change.

Hey guys my name is Ed and I got a GS p-47 for christmas. Got tolove the wife that buys toys. I have a few projects to finish before i begin but have a few questions. i have followed this build for months and figure you guys are the ones who can answer them.

1. The G-62 is the way to go?
2. Is relocating the gear to the scale location worth the effort and just how hard is it. Does anyone maybe have templates.
3. What gear is recommended for this beast. Robarts or century jet.

I will start my own thread when i get closer but you guys have such a great one i figured i would ask here thanks guys.

I am going to do the brazillian air force scheme i think something different
