Hi Matt:
Yes it is. That one was done buy my friend Carl B. I have had a love for these things for a long time. Here are a couple more. What are your interest Matt?

Dave
thanks for the info Dave. My interest is anything thats done nicely, if that makes sense to you. I like seeing a well put together bird and im satisfied
Once I get past this slow season and buisness picks up for me I would like to find a nice large scale Pilatus PC-9. Not a warbird per-say but its a jet trainer under the guise of Texan II for the USAF so that would make a nice project. Only warbird I currently own is a VQ P-40 Warhawk that I plan on installing CJ retarcts to replace the broken stock mech's. Have Saito 91 for power so its not a thriller but flies pretty scale.

Dream list would include a Turbine Panther or F-5 likes Bryce Watsons, B-25 with at least an 80" wingspan, large twin Civilian like your Electra and a large 80"+ P-40. Not having building skills or building space I am stuck with ARF's or 2nd hand kits if I can find them.

to stay on topic, here is a pic of my collection The one and only in the fleet that qualifies as a Warbird

regards

matt

Hi Matt:
Excellent. I have been looking at the VQ P-61, so fare on the twin page it looks like a good looking weekend bird. I am also interested in the B-25 ARF that is coming out from, I believe Kange models.
I would like one of those. I will get one of Yellows new Corsair at 100" when it comes out next year.

You shouldn't feel embarrassed with those two incredible planes, the P40 looks great.

Thanks Dave, wish I had a workshop back. Got a new house and need to build workspace to accomodate my hobby as I outgrew the old basement.

Yeah I had to get a three car garage just so I can have one of them. Momma has the rest

Hello to all, WhoDaMan, I see you live in Davis, I'm up in Chico. I have a Yellow P-47, Pica 88in Spit, Yellow Zero, Platt 80in Zero, and a Holman 80 in. Hellcat. Having said all that, I have'nt had a chance to learn to fly one of them, because there is no one in this area that is into warbirds. I,m in the process of putting in a 450x50 concrete runway at my house I'm currently building. If you are ever up in Chico and would like to teach a fellow warbird guy how to fly, bring some warbirds up and fly. I too go to the Woodland Davis Warbird fly in. I would post pics, but do not know how to on the computer. Need to learn that too. Oh, by the way, did I say I have number 3 on the way in Feb. Another boy, at this rate, I will have to start my own warbird club soon. All you guys take care, Capt. Winters
