Default New Sportsman Aviation Corsair, Anyone get??

HI all, I`ve been looking at the ad`s for the New Sportsman Aviation .46 CORSAIR ARF.
Looks like it may be nice for a small fun Corsair Warbird and it comes with retracts. Sportsman Aviation seems to make a well built and strong plane.

Has anyone seen in person or gotten this new Sportsman Aviation .46 Corsair ARF??
If so, Whats your input on it??
Thanks.

they have them at the hobby people here in vegas. Almost an exact copy of the Hangar 9 corsair. But it is smaller in the wing span. same retracts, same cowl. same everything. If it flies as well as the H9 and holds up better, it should be a great amount of fun.

Try a search. Someone else asked the same question awhile ago in this forum, and it had several replies.

I love Sportman aviation planes , have the discontinued P40 , very well built , worth a bashing project that I am now doing to the plane.
My problem with the corsiar is econimic .
Here is my story , why spend $200 for a sport plane that is virtually the same as H9 corsair sport plane and the H9 flys and lands like a trainer , Ya the H9 is about $229 to $259 depending on where you buy , but the span is larger , its light and has light wing loading .
(ok all you warbird experts - dont take me so litteral but it does not fly like a warbird and that is why is does not need /have flaps )

Now I will tell you that 100% historically -the Hobby People will go on sale they always do , and if you live near one of there stores the deals are sometimes greater . I bought the P40 for $149 , the Spit for $149 when they were on the down trend .

I just bought the double winger Folker for $129 .

Thanks guys for your input.
Yes, the price is alittle high($219.00) for this 40 size Corsair. They need to start a sale on it now!
I`ll have to check out H-9`s Corsair again.
