D&R Aircraft P-40 Warhawk?
Can anyone give me more information on this aircraft? I purchased it a couple of months ago from a retired gentleman. It has a 90inch span, foam fuse, foam wing. The inside of the cowling is marked "D&R-3" which matches the stock number from Fiberglass specialties for the D&R Aircraft P-40. The kit was assembled around 15-18 years ago by another fellow. I purchased it with a Quadra50. It flies very well, does everything that I ask and nothing unexpected. (usually) I would just like to know more about the kit and the company that made it.

RE: D&R Aircraft P-40 Warhawk?
I believe that the old D&R line of kits was taken over by Northwest Hobby Technologies many years ago, and most all the designs (P-40, Corsair, & P-51) were upgraded. Most all the designs were totally changed or dropped. NWHT has gone away as well, & Jack Devine Models has purchased all the tooling, but does not have it going full tilt yet.

It’s a D&R aircraft, the guy was in the Seattle area, (Puyallup) WA. I was at his garage many times and bought a few of his planes. Long gone now but man they sure did fly good. Don’t sell it, fly it. You won’t find a better flying warbird anywhere.
