P-6E Curtis hawk (build thread)

My Feedback: (16)

Well I have found a brother to my first P-6E Hawk at the Dayton Modelrama. On Saturday, second day of swap meet, I found 3, one NIB virgin going for $900. One of the smaller EP versions ready to bind and fly, asking $550 and then the one I picked up with a OS FS120 SE in great shape what looks like just a few flights on it.
I can't wait to give the new addition a quick going over and get in the air and now I'm less afraid of losing one with a second in the hangar.
I'm very surprised this lasted till near end of the show with many hard lookers as I was told and seen at the booth. With two recent Ebay listings for a nib going for $1200 or so, I wish I could,d have got the NIB one also.
just passing on my enthusiasm for this plane and that if you ever run across one, you won't be disappointed.

Sam,
Glad you got it.
Same one I took a picture of in my post in 'road trips: 2023'
Road trips: 2023
Very reasonable price on it.
