Reuben, I have the book, but I can not for the life of me find anything remotely resembling an ISBN #. The book was published in Japan about 15 + years ago from what I understand. This is a problem I've encountered with hobby specific books from the past several decades, especially with books from Japan and the former CIS countries. I have several great books on Luft. aircraft that I could never find again unless accidently stumbling on it at a market because of this very same problem. There is just no way of tracking them down that I am aware of...if anyone knows how to do this, please let me know!

If you know where I should specificlly be looking let me know, I can even scan the page for you. I just can not find an ISBN on this book and I've just looked through it several more times.

Reuben,

I have a copy of it also.....but have had it quite a while. Your best chance of finding it is to get on some of the plastic forums like "hyper scale" and you can also check hlj.com. This website is run by an american living in Japan and they sell Maru mechanics books, plastics etc. Beware.....you can spend lots of money there!!

All,

This looks like an interesting book. Should someone find a source for it, please, post the seller as I'd like to get one, too.

I did some searching of this and William Green is the author, it was first published in 1971 and then published again in 1980. I am sure this is the same book, here is the ISBN number for the 1980 book. 0710600054 It's all english, not like the Japanese version with english subtitles. Go to abesbooks.com and search for it. The cover is a little different but I am sure it's the same book. Hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback guys.
Eric: I doubt it very much whether it is the same book. Publishers are quite different.
Jeff: I have twisted my credit card!
Rob: I quite agree with you. Japanese books are difficult to come by. CIS books are much
easier to get hold of in this part of the world. Email me off list as I have managed to set up

Hi Guys,
Thanks ever so much for your input. It is appreciated.
ERIC: I doubt it very much if it is the same book. Different publishers.
JEFF: I have twisted my credit card! Been there but I have not asked there yet.
ROB: I quite agree with you. Nowoadays Japanese books are still hard to get hold of. With CIS
countries it is much easier these days. I have managed to buy a number of KAGERO and
AJ PRESS ones. Managed to set up a very decent book library. Ask me if you need
something specific. That goes to you guys.

Ok so what is the story now? Ok last night I have managed to get a digital copy of this Augsburg book. Unfortunately a few pages are missing. If you have the book....treasure it!! its fantastic!
Now that I have seen what's inside it makes me want to have a hardcopy even more. Model Art has managed to make a good one again.
So.....the search goes on to locate it!
Thanks for your feedback guys. Very much appreciated

Thanks

Reuben
