Hi Dean,

Ok, I have a better idea of where you are at now and what you are dealing with.

I am more than willing to give you some ideas, suggestions, information, and opinions. I feel I have some very good info for you.

Most of the stuff I could answer here on this forum. But I am not here to discuss other company's products, nor give views that would start debates. Been there, done that. Back when it was necessary.

I am very new to this forum here and don't know exactly how everything works yet. Are you able to list a e-mail address or is their some way of contacting you directly and personaly?

And I do travel at times. But having spent most of my life doing that for Fan Fly's, Competition, movie location, etc. I am not thrilled with travel anymore and haven't been to any air shows other tht Woodland's in years. Maybe some day for some reason we will be close enough to have that beer.

George, you can bore me anytime with the stories. One of these days when I decide to retire from civil service and the Army Reserves, I would love to give a try to building (and or flying) models for movies. I know lots of time, money, and luck to do it, but still a dream.

The fun goes away real quick when you have a deadline to get it done on Hollywood time!

Hey George,

Glad to hear you and Col. Thacker are both alive and well. I built 3 of your F-4 Phantoms and 2 T-38s. Pics of some of them are in my gallery. The T-38 in my Avatar was one of yours also. I still have remnants of one of the Phantoms in my attic.

Scale dail - how true you are. Quite a few times over the years, my LHS (and other leads) send me customers planes to build (or rebuild) always with a fast and hard deadline. Not Hollywood time, but a deadline none the less. Yes, sometimes the hobby does become a job on top of everything else. But over the past 20 + years, I still enjoy it.

Very good and old saying: "Want to ruin a hobby, turn it into a business" Trust me on this one, I have a liitle bit of experience here.

Hi Gary,

Nice photos, excellant job. I have never seen a better looking T-38. I am really impressed.

Do you have any stories about your twin DF F-4? I saw one fly at Texas back in my days. Was that you?

"Way to go"
