Although I am a Corsair guy, I do enjoy going through all the pictures in the Mustang thread, that coincidently has a very similar subject title as this thread.
(I still haven't seen every picture in that thread yet.)
Although Corsairs are not as numerous at the local field than Mustangs, I'm sure there are enough Corsair owners in the internet community to fill this thread with pictures... it is, after all, the second most favorite warbird according to a recent poll.
So, let's see your Corsair...
(mine's not done yet, but I'll post a pic of it here when it is)

OK we try again! LOL
Here is my Jemco Corsair after many years of flights. I have passed this one on to a good friend to enjoy while I get ready to build my Topflite. The Topflite will be painted in the same 3 tone color scheme

Evan:
It's been over a year since I've been searching the internet for anything "Corsair" and I've never seen a super corsair modelled yet. Now I gather from recent posts that there are three of you who are planning to do super corsairs (shupack, taildragger, and youself). The red #57 is my favorite one. From your website, it looks like you can make mods to anything with great success.

Juice, Thanks for the compliments. I plan on doing no.57's partner from the Thompson trophy days, "race No. 74". No. 74 won the thompson in 1947 and no. 57 won it in 1949. Neither airplane finished in 1948 as both blew the carb intake scoops off by using to high an octane fuel on a cold day. No. 74 is still around and owned by the same guy as no. 57. His name is Bob Odeegard and he lives in North Dakota. No. 74 was painted all blue with white chekkers on the cowl and white scallops. Like you said, there are very few models out there of the F2g which is why I plan to modify my byron. I will probably start on the mods as soon as I finish my Me109.

Dean, where can I get the plans for the folding wings? I searched for months before I got impaitient and built my wings solid. F4U, I realy like the grey and black paint scheme, I'm thinking of doing it next (after i finish my #57 race, which i'll start after I finish this one) but what's the trampoline for? to simulate a bouncing carrier deck? :stupid:

Here are a couple of pictures of my corsair:
I've replaced the fiberglass gear doors with thick carved balsa. I didn't like the finish that I got with the originals. I have also ordered a retractable tailwheel, and will dig into the tail when that arrives.
I'm planning on a RCV .90 and glassing it per Joe Huntley's instruction on his website:
http://home.mchsi.com/~jahuntley/help.html
I'm planning on finishing it to represent M.O. Chance's Bu 530 of VMF-312. This is the first airplane in this picture:

The Confederate Air Force repainted their corsair to resemble this same plane. It can be seen in this picture:

This is a Ziroli with Quadra 75XL. Hasn't flown yet due to nerve (lack of) and weather. Has retract tail wheel and flaps - weight is 32LBS due to the need of lead in the nose for balance.

NoGuts_NoGlory: Nice pass. I like the dirty look of Corsairs.
Does anyone have any "flaps down, gear down, doors open, shadow on the runway, about to land" pictures? I love those.

That's exactly what I'm talking about!...
Are your gear doors cycling?

Glad the picture was what you wanted. The doors were not cycling - they were damaged earlier in the day. I had them set up on a separate switch and I forget the sequence and raised the gear on closed doors - not good! I have since removed the doors as the aggravation and fixing was not worth the trouble. I am looking into a new way to do it though.
