Default Yellow Aircraft Zero spinner question

Does anyone make a spinner to fit a Yellow Aircraft Zero with the correct profile? The one from Y.A. is very heavy. I am going to run a G62 for power.

Thanks,

Don't you need a lot of nose weight in addition to a G62 anyway? By the way, I wish Tru-Turn would introduce a line of Zero spinners.

I don't know yet about the weight. I am changing the Bennett box style muffler to a much heavier Slimline pitts style muffler. I am hoping that I can reduce noise and get rid of that chunk-of-lead spinner.

Gene Barton has a 3 1/2 inch spinner for the Zero. No picture available on the website but it seems about right. Thanks.

It's almost identical to the YA spinner and probably weighs almost the same.

The TT P-51 profile is "close" .. you have to decide if that's close enough .. but having had one of these, I'd be surprised as well if you did not need the nose weight anyway..

Chuck,

I have a G62 powered Yellow Aircraft Zero with the heavy spinner from Y.A. and still had to add nose weight. You may want to reconsider going to a lighter one. The heavy spinner puts the weight way out in front resulting in less weight back further to ballance.
