I'm trying to figure out where to get an aluminum spinner for a 1/5 FW-190. I have the GRP spinner that came with the short kit, but it weighs almost 8 ounces, aluminum would only be about half of that. I went to the tru turn site and they didn't have any listed, maybe they'd do one custom made?

Your FW-190 will require a lot of nose weight. Don't you want the extra weight anyway? 8 ounces is nothing. You might need to add pounds. Tru-Turn will do a custom one that would cost an arm and a leg. I believe they also require a minimum number of spinners to start.

Thanks, I looked at the skyshark, but like richard said, they're too small. It's an electric, so any extra weght in the nose will go toward more batteries. If I can save 4 ounces on the spinner, I can add 2 cells for another 180 watts. I'll keep Gene Barton in mind, but I may just have to go with a custom tru-turn.

Try the Sist Fw-190's spinner
It's a 1/5 scale Fw and they are available from germany, US and i think UK. It will set you back about 33 Euros + shipping, or $45 USD plus shipping. It also can be bought with a fan that will spin and might help cool the motor and cells.
