Default B.B.B. The Bristol Blenheim Bomber

The C.R.Skyhawks had their anual "warbird" event last Saturday, we were fortunate to have M. Graves from Illinois bring his beautiful warbirds to our event and show us these beauties in the air. The Bristol Bomber is a 1/4 scale weighing in at a mere 94 pounds, with a 14' w.s. and an 11' length. Powered by two DA-100's that were in perfect harmony. It's held off the ground with custom Robart retracts. It has operating flaps and bomb drop features. Mr. Graves won the pilot's choice award for best of the meet. It was truely a pleasure to watch this beautiful aircraft fly.

DelRay,

Where are all the rest of the photos?!?!? I keep checking the Skyhawks website, but nothing yet!

To all others, I am very pleased to report that the Skyhawks put on a first-class Warbird event each summer, and I'm eagerly awaiting next year's meet! That day was a ton of fun and there were some incredible aircraft there (photos of Merlyn's plane speak for themselves)! If you're in eastern Iowa and able to attend next year, be sure to look them up... it's not to be missed!

Noah, thanks for the "plug", we appreciate the kind words. You're right, I must get my backside moving and get those photos, or some of them to Paul for the site. I sent Allen some of the pics I shot of his 310, and will be glad to send any of the pics I have of your group to you. Thanks to you and your group that attended and helped make our event a great one. Hope to see y'all again next year, y'all come back now, ya hear?
