Default P-47 "Look! No Hands"

Hi All,

Looking for the history of this aircraft/pilot. All I can find with Google is the following:

"Look! No Hands" P47D-30-RE flown by Major Chester Van Etten 509th Fighter Squadron (405th Fighter Group).

Can anyone give more details?? Like number of missions, highlights of missions etc.

Maybe someone knowns of a book(s) that may have this information??

Steve, I would recommend that you post this question over in the Warbird Information Exchange forum. There are a few guys over there who seem to have information, and many times pictures, of just about everything.

Here's a link if you're interested: http://warbirdinformationexchange.or...wforum.php?f=3
