Default Hangar 9 PT 19 advice sought

Hi all,
recently got a H9 PT 19 with a Zenoah G 23 on the nose. I need info on the following:

What kind of pilot busts to put in it - make and size.

Does a pitts style muffler fit in the cowling completely? if so, what model? The stock muffler sits in a cutout on the left side of the cowling.

Any advice on the Robart struts? It has them mounted, but they seem stiff.

Hi Bill, if you are not after speed or wild acrobatics you should enjoy the plane. Can't comment on the pilot busts, never got around to mounting any in mine.
Used the Slimline muffler and had to make a cutout to let the round end stick out or it would have rubbed a hole in the cowl.
I would think the struts would be a little stiff bacause of the weight of the plane.

Default pilots

Take a look at the Hangar 9 pilots. I putt two in mine. I believe they are the British aviators. They painted up to be pretty nice. Also, look at bending the landing gear forward. This baby likes to nose over. Nice flying plane that looks great in the air.
