Well, I have sold my AD5. It's new home is in North Carolina. She will go from a Target Tug to a Vietnam Era fighter. Looking forward to getting photos and seeing a video of the maiden. If anyone is interested in a really nice SBD, I am selling mine. I am looking for $3500 but willing to listen to any offer. I just want someone to have as much fun with it as Charlie and I had. Not getting out of the hobby just out of giant scale. I will miss the building, detailing and being part of the Warbird Fun Flies. Hope the gentleman who purchased my AD will continue with this link. Fran/SBD5

I just donated my SNJ to the Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum - DVHAA. After 15+ years of fun and flying she is going to hang forever with Charlie's planes. They will be in the air together where they should be, something we always wanted to see. The Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum is dedicated to preserving the aviation history of the Greater Delaware Valley, including the contributions of Harold F. Pitcairn and the men and women who served at NAS Willow Grove. Even Amelia Earhart flew out of this historic airfield. I am so happy to be part of this local museum where my family and grandchildren will be able to see my plane and the planes of my friend Charlie Kellogg. You can see Charlie's planes on either side of me. Check out the link and if you can help this hometown museum please do so.....www.wingsoffreedommuseum.org/index.php/newsfeed

Fran,
Really nice of you to donate your SNJ, Charlie must be smiling that the friendship you guys had will now be memorialized with your planes hanging together at the museum.
Sorry to hear that you're getting out of Giant Scale, your builds are really nice...

Hope everything else is good

Fran, I have been off of RCU for awhile trying to complete some of my smaller planes. Wow, you sold your AD-5. I am also sorry to hear you have stopped with giant scale, but very happy you chose to stay in the hobby. Maybe one day we can join another build. There are other threads you may be interested in, one being the Skyraider Brotherhood. There is also the P-40, P-39, Spitfire, among other great ones here, but I would like to have you be part of any of the ones I am on. Please remember all are open to all size planes. Hope to see you here, Steve. P.S. My new AD-5 will be in town on Tuesday of next week.

When I look up at the sky
I see a pair of wings go by.
It's not a plane, it's my friend I see.
I miss his friendship and support.
But I still feel him at my side
when I have the transmitter in my hands.

In memory of Charlie Kellogg!

Shout out regarding my AD5 (well my old AD5). Does anybody have any news on the progress. The warm weather is around the corner and I hope she is in the air at Warbirds over Delaware 2015! The SBD is still for sale and if someone is interested I will bring to WOD 2015. I am looking for $3500 but willing to listen to any offer. See on the the above threads for photos.

WARBIRDRCER, To this day I have not hear back from the family...

I sent email on Sat 4/18/2020 8:14 PMHello Kellogg family,

I am searching for plans to the AD-5 SKYRAIDER... How does one purchase them?
I can pay by PayPal, or credit card or money order... Please advise.

ANY assistance would be greatly appreciated... Thanks...

I emailed him a few weeks ago and he told me he will need some time to get things together.

Some of you may remember this photo of my son (who just turned 15) and I several year ago from page one of this thread. Well, I am glad to announce, the Kellogg AD-5 flew twice today for it's first two flights. What a great flying aircraft, thanks to Charlie Kellogg!

lkahn4, Thank you. Maser and another RC friend ventured out to the field yesterday and made it happen. Would not, and could not have done it without them.

Ziroli bought the rights to sell the avenger but Brett kellogg kept the Skyraider. Not sure why but last i talked to him he said he can make the part but needed a few weeks due to his job. I havent heard from him since.

Sorry bigstew60, In your post, I thought you were looking for Avenger parts. Maser and I have been in contact with the Kellogg family also, and have been told the same. However, after several attempts and months later (over a year and a half) later, I have no additional parts. I will check again on another option. I would like to have extras too.
