Well I just can’t leave good enough alone. I would like to put some insulation on the roof it gets a little warm down here in Texas in the summer time. I was thinking of good old foam board with foil on it from home depot, but the question is what to glue it up with that will hold up to the heat...?

RE: How do you transport your warbirds?
Hello all,
Here are few pictures of my trailer outfitted with solar panels on the roof. The set up charges an on board 12 volt 50 Amp gel cell battery which in turn powers my distribution panel and D/C to A/C inverter.

RE: How do you transport your warbirds?
I put them in the trunk of my 1999 Ford Escort, the rear seat folds forward and it's amazing what I can fit in there. I can fit 2 1/5 or 1/6 scale planes, flight box, radio and extra props in it. Of coarse my nose is in the windshield, and if my wife and kid want to go with me, I just tie them to the hood of the car.
If I have to go to a show that's a few miles away I barrow my Father-in-laws 2004 Chevy Truck with cap and cab.

I merely built my own trailer. 6x12. Has internal lights, standard electrical plugs(2), and fan.
The left side has a fold down work table and can also be used for additional space for transporting planes.

RE: How do you transport your warbirds?
Ok guys I think I can put a fork in it. I got power in it now. I installed a solar panel that charges the deep cycle marine battery that powers the ports at each airplane rack. Being the paranoid person I am everything runs though a fused power distribution panel.
