Does anyone have a source for the full body 12" WWII fighter pilot figures? I know several toy company have made them but I can't seem to find them anymore.

Do a search on feebay for action figures. G.I. Joe has several 12" (1/6 scale) WWII pilot figures, and Dragon makes several very nice WWII 12" pilots.
Here is a Dragon P-40 Pearl Harbor series pilot. He comes with everything including a May West and a parachute. Very authentic looking. I picked this one up for $17. You just have to look around.

Phil is great to work with, and they can do pretty much whatever you need.
here's mine for my Micko P-47(1/6th)
and the one for my Fliteskin ME 109(site photo as he's on route)
they may cost you a little more than what you find on ebay, but you WILL be happy with you purchase!

There are a few stores that still list having the P40 pilot, but you're going to pay around $50-$60 these days. Occasionally somebody does let one go on Ebay but a lot of modelers keep an eye open for them.

There is a guy on RCU who sells unpained pilots , the best there ever was , they are replicas of a famous ww2 pilot , no bottom legs from the lower knee down but easily fixed if needed .
If you can find them I will get mine out and get you the address , trust me , they are fantastic !!!!

He also has, on his site, a very nice paint color chart for various pilots.

Great! I just came across this topic and I just sent an email to Phil! I was searching for a full body scale pilot for my TF P47 and hopefully he can offer me what I need!

yah.. I went to e-bag I noticed one can buy the head/clothes seperately. so I'm
just gonna buy the head along with flite jackets/ gloves/ boots/ flite pants etc
and do the rest of the body in lightweight foam. gonna try to keep the weight
down.

Ram I'm using a similar pilot in my P-38 and with some work it looks very realistic. check out the video I have attached of my pilot starting and running up the Alison’s

Ram I did use the parachute but not the May West vest. The pilot of the aircraft I'm modeling did use it but for those that use it, its has great detail.
