Hear are the two previous builds i have completed in the past two months, the first is a 1/4 scale Clark industries Spitfire i built this for Paul Wilson. The second is a Jerry Bates Sea fury 1/4 scale for Brian Omera. This will give you an idea of the services i offer.

Hear is the second.
A 1/4 scale sea fury this one took me just over a month to get it to where it is. I just have to finish some paint detail and rivets and its ready for flight.
I will be delivering this to Frank knoll Futaba rep for test flight and he is using it in Top Gun this year, will post the final pics soon.

Here are the control surfaces all glassed will start priming them next, also started the gear doors I'm using G10 material this stuff is good but it uses up the blades in the cutting saw.

This is what has been done so far.

It is good to see another P47 being built. It appears that the
landing gear scissors is reversed. The scissors pointed toward
the leading edge of the wing on the P47. A picture is attached.
Looks like you have a small air force in your shop.

Hi Paul,
To install the gear with scissors facing backward you had to make a notch on the wing stringer(where stringer would intefere with it)
Please reinforcethe stringer by gluing back a piece of wood filler on notched part and cover with a layer of carbon fiber tape, glued extending some 2 inches either side of notched area.
Please don't get me wrong, but I'm an Aeronautical Structures Engineer...
Cheers

RE: Meister Land SE Rogerio's Brazilian P47 Bubble
Hi Rogerio,
Where i made the mistake is non structural thank god i did not see this i could kick myself. if you look at the pictures i have given much needed structural integrity to the landing gear plates and surrounding areas you will see more added this week as i have now sheeted the bottom of the wing, i will be drilling and placing hard wood bamboo skewers in key areas for extra strength i have done this to all my planes in the past and as you saw with the typhoon it didn't pull the gear out at top gun even though i landed hard.
I'm interested in your friend Marcelo i hope he want to buy the other one it would be great two Brazilian p47 S.
Thanks Limey.

RE: Meister Land SE Rogerio's Brazilian P47 Bubble
Hi Paul,
Hope Marcelo will contact you. I didn't know second one is already for sale.
Good to know that stringer is non structural as you say.I was not concerned about structural integrity of gear attachment itself, but to the lower skin, that carries strength in a semi monocoque construction to wich the stringer is part.
I still have no idea on how to post pictures here. I contacted the RCU help desk, did what they told me on my browser but to no avail...
Pictures you posted for me are not the ones you posted for the construction. I can see yours as the page opens, but what I sent you must be clicked to open. Is it because they are .bmp?
Could you change format to .jpg and post again to test?
Cheers
