I just got home and unpacked some of my stuff. I'll be going through my pictures and posting what I can. I'll add links to any videos I come across too. It was a great weekend and we had a lot of fun.

What a fantastic event that Tim & Karen along with the crew that runs this event. Bonnie and I, along with Ryan H, have been attending for the last 5 years and it is on the must go to list every year.
THe real reaason we go is because of the food. Karen has us hoked on the sweet corn, her morning pancakes and of course the fantastic BBQ.
YUM YUM

I LOVE this event!
How you managed to arrange 4 consecutive days without crosswinds, I'll never figure out!
Saturday was huge with more pilots and spectators than I've ever seen there, but Th, Fri, Sun were fun days, too.
And Sunday, I got to meet and fly with the great Sam Parfitt, whom I had no idea was there!
Saturday's B-17 flight "Salute to an American Hero" left a huge lump in my throat which no doubt affected my ability to land mine without bouncing.
These 6 bombers all in the air together!

There has been a growing number of us coming up from Oklahoma. This year was the best yet. Worth every minute of the 11+ hour drive. This is one of the best run events that we have ever attended and the almost non stop food from Karen is worth the trip alone.
Thanks to Tim and Karen and the whole support crew for a great weekend.

Well I'm sorting through photo's but work was busy today and I'm quite tired. I'll post a few as I can. Here is one of the aerial shots I took Saturday afternoon.

While filling out the paperwork for AMA I did a quick count and from all the chicken scratching on the sign in forms I was able to count 101 pilots from 11 states and Canada.
The states represented are:
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Iowa
Illinois
Oklahoma
Colorado
Nebraska
Ohio
Kansas
Missouri
North Dakota
As noted earlier there were well over 150 giant scale models out on in the pits area and more in the shed and trailers.
I'm still gathering pics and I'll be linking to some video's that a couple locals shot during the event.
Thanks again for a great event and keep the pictures coming!

Thanks for the video of my engine-out P-61.
I think you captured the spirit of the flight very well.

Video of my seven year-old Ziroli-61 flying on windy Sunday.
On either side of me are Dave, my spotter (one of the best pilots I know), and the famous Sam Parfitt.
Just standing between those two is enough pressure to make me crash a trainer!
