Warbird Day Oct. 9 - Amarillo, TX
Warbird Day is coming up Oct. 9th at our clubs field in Amarillo, TX. See the attached flier for details.
While this is only a one day event, the field will be available for flying Friday and Sunday for those who come early and/or stay late. Just let me know.
Here's a link to our clubs (ARKS) website for directions to the field (under Documents), photo albums, etc.

Hey Brian,
Sounds fun! Larry, Sam and myself are always looking for fun, friendly Warbird venues to attend. I'll try and get The Birds Of Prey boys interested. Pm me a list of hotels that would be close to the field we could stay at for a night or two.

Hey Brian,
When I saw your Ad for Warbirds over Amarillo it brought back memories of my stay at Amarillo AFB. I went through basic training there back in 1966. I was suppose to go to Lackland AFB but there was an outbreak of Meningitis so they closed the base. I also went to tech school there as an aircraft refueler so I moved from one end of the base to the other. Anyway I only visited Amarillo once because they would'nt allow us off the base. Good luck with the flyin.
