Help...control throws for a TF .60 size P-47?
I dug my old p-47 out of the moth balls today and installed a new 2.4GHz radio, I was wondering if someone could give me the control throws including flaps because I forgot to measure them before I removed the old RX and my manual is long gone...thanks for your help.

I flew my P-47 yesterday, first time it's been in the air in about 5 years, everything went fine as hoped. Still have some questions about programming the Futaba 8FG raido. Boomerang-Do you have any close ups of your bomb racks and drop tank rack? Yours looks awesome in the picture!

Here's the photos you wanted. The bombs used to be droppable but after a crash & repairs I left them off.
The tank is released by a mini servo pulling a piece of nyrod. The 4 dowels keep the tank steady on the belly of the model. - John. |

Well done Boomerang! I always had my trop tank release on just never decided on a way to stabilize it during flight so I never used.
Here is a couple pictures of the old girl. |

I am thinking about this plane for my next build and would like some engine suggestions that fit inside the cowling and still provide plenty of power. Thanks for your help . I currently have a OS FS-61 four stroke and an OS max FX -91, would either of these engines work?

RE: Help...control throws for a TF .60 size P-47?
FX 91 for sure, I think the 61 four stroke is not enough power. I clocked my jug at 91 mph with a OS 91 Surpass, verticle is ok but certainly not unlimited, thinking about a gas upgrade.
