The ESM and Scale Wings are in two different classes Ibelieve... Isn't the ESM a out of the box ARF?

To keep this thread going another La7 video. I think this demonstrates what a great model this is to fly.

Smoke could have been high oil content for a brand new engine?

Looking at a couple of the other YouTubes of Yaks showed smoke for some, especially the Moki 250s. I'm guessing they were new engines on new models and Moki suggests high breakin oil amounts.

Thanks to everybody for the great feedback!
The La-7 is available in two different sizes - one is about 2,8m wingspan and the other is about 2,2m

I got my Scale Wings LA-7 last week and need to finish up a few other projects first before getting started.

One item Iam trying to find is what material was the exhaust shield area made of; does anyone here know?

Thanks,
John

Not that much smoke.....

I just don't get why people would go to the effort to make a nice scale model, put in a beautiful radial like a moki, 3 blade prop, and then wreck it with totally "non-scale" smoke billowing out???? if your engine is blowning out that much smoke in real life, you land straight away, not take off any fly aero's. Sorry that's just my 2c.

Thanks

dave
