Ok guys it is about that time again for our 2nd. Warbird event . You can check it out on our web." charlotterc.com " I hope you can make it. We had a good time last year and had some beautifull airplanes. This is a laid back event for everyone just to have a good time. We will have the same D.J. again playing all that swing music from the time period. If you want any additional info. please call me at 941-423-9260 and I will be glad to fill you in. The dates are March 10th & 11th.

Hey everyone,

I went to this event last year and we had a great time. Four of us from the Tampa/Lakeland area came down and really enjoyed some great flying and new friends. Really nice guys running the show and awesome open place to fly. The runway was a new grass field that I assume is even better this year and was already pretty good last year. I am sorry to say I will not be attending this year because of schedule conflicts with the family.

We had a lot of fun and flew all day long. I urge you to check them out!

I will miss Bob and the guys. Have fun and see you next year!

Dean has a wedding that day.......not his own.....lol.....and can't make it . But I have 2 or 3 buddies who will probably come. I can't speak for Frank or his crew but we'll do what we can........Doug

Had a chance to check out the field last sunday and met some nice people! Hoping to bring my Hellcat for the fly in, planning to re maiden it today hopefully it goes good. lol

Just got back and she flys great! Except for my right (stock) retract which keeps colapsing. Need to find that fine line between not collapsing and not hanging too low when retracted. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...n/rolleyes.gif
Your planes look great! What manufactures and size are they and which is your fave to fly?

They are all TOP-FLITE giant scale ARF's & ARC's . I got rid of most of my kit built planes, I still have a TOP-FLITE giant scale Corsair kit to finish. I also have their P-47 and an ESM VAL. I have been flying 2 P-51 arfs for the past 4 years so I 'am more familiar with the plane and can almost fly it blind folded , but they are all great flyer's.
