RE: air leak in GEAR system

I would change all the air lines, after a period of time they get brittle and start to leak. Also would change the storage tank if is the original plastic bottle. Put in a Robart Metal tank.
Thanks,
Fred

RE: air leak in GEAR system

Listen to Fred's advice, change all the air lines first. Pump it up to 100 lbs and go do something else for the night. If everything is right then it should still be at 100 lbs overnight. The number of cycles will depend on the size and number of air cylinders and the speed at which the gear retract and deploy, i.e. how the retract valve is setup.

You can brush on some bubble maker to help find the leak. Dan.
