40 size Royal A6M3 Zero..Who has one flying???
 

Has anyone seen or have this airplane? I have searched for build threads/ information and found a couple, however, they are old and no one seems to have finished them. I am finishing up with mine, but I am curious on how it performs. I am worried about it's weight. I am creeping up on 6 1/2 lbs and I haven't covered it yet. Any information on this aircraft will be greatly appreciated.

Here is the link to a Royal Rufe which is basically the .40 size zero on floats. Even with the additional weight and drag of the floats it flies well in this video. I have the Rufe kit and will be building it. If you look here in the warbird section I have been posted a friend's build of a Royal Zero .60 into a rufe which he hopes to have done for the spring.

Thanks Chistech. The Rufe on Youtube looks good. I have seen the 60 size Rufe build which looks nice.
