Hangar 9 Spitfire 30cc 1/5 scale - tail wheel modifications
 

The tail wheel supplied is just a wire with a wheel attached. Not scale-like at all. My objective is to retain the wire's springiness, but to add scale realism by cobbling together some balsa/ply setup to try and duplicate the looks of the real thing. Any ideas, or pictures? Thanks

I remember reading somewhere that a scale tail wheel assembly was available for this ARF for $45. I was researching the model then. Now that I'm building one, I can't find it anywhere. I know--not much help. Never mind this, I didn't see Chad's post.
