thanks Bob....fuse is going under the sandpaper tomorrow. I Had to fill the rudder cable exits and sand them before the fuse gets sanded��

Good to see you in here warbird.... yes I'd like to see how your work is coming along. I have duties with the wife today so I'm not sure if I'll get to the fuse, she might let me play this afternoon 😃

For me the Lavotchkine comes in final assembly.
I adjusted the wheel geometry for ensure that it roll straight.
All control surface are mounted, and make removable. I replace the pin in each hinges with a long piano wire (1.5mm). For ailerons, it's necessary to ad some plastic tube into the aileron to guide wire. For this, I dug a throat into the aileron, and glued a plastic tube, an refill with some époxy and microballons. Sorry, no pictures about this... but pictures from other control surface.
Tonight, I going forward with Saito FG-84 R3 final assembly.

very nice work warbird !!! Have you ran the Saito or is it still brand new? If it is brand new I have some recommendations on a break in procedure a friend of mine used I would be happy to share with you if you are interested .....let me know. Good job on the La😃😃
