You got a incredible job, well done. Do you have brocken in the Evolution radial motor? My canopy opening system is fonctionnal, and simple to make. The closing way is made with magnets. I can post you new pictures about the slidding system, but you must wait 14 days, i am curently in holidays... Here another pictures on my La-7 progress: |

While setting th toe in I discovered the OEM struts weren't good enough quality so I ordered a set from Robart....so I'll set the wing aside and work on the business end of the fuse

So I've measured the engine opening of the cowl and it's not quite scale so I'll open it up an additional 1 1/2"

Take special care to the hot exhaust cooling air! It is a big problem with the La-7, there are nothing to make escape hot air from the coling... and the 2 openig for the side exhaust are not enought...
Can anybody explain how the full size La-7 motor cooling work? |
