sorry that all these pics come in sideways....I post as I build with my IPhone and that's how they always come out, I don't know why.

Nice work on the interior etc.,that always makes a plane look more complete and authentic.

Thanks for the nice comments BobH. Ill start sanding the wings today and my goal is to start painting by the end of this week. This plane didn't have a lot of detail because it was a wood airplane with metal parts added at different locations so the detail work on the wings will be easy.;)

Some News:

The paint job is finish, it still lacks some détails.
I have weight the plane, and first projections is 14.8 kg (33.3 lbs), with pilot, but without fuel. If i add the fuel + smoker fuel, the total weight is 16.5 kg (37.125 lbs) in flight.
The good new is that i must not add some lead in the nose, the balance is perfect with the Lipos.
Here some pictures, but this is the first assembly, it still lacks the gear door, and some détails as pitot tube, and radio antenna...
Be continued next week, stay on-line.

Great work warbird04!! your final weight is gonna make a nice flying model. Send more pics when you get the final details on. Do you have a maiden flight date yet? Video must follow:D

The CG is located as discuted in this thread, 190-195 mm from leading eadge of fuselage side.
I try to obtain more information about this point with other LA-7 Customer.
There remains some work befor i try the mainden. But yes i post some details pictures as request.

Ok I thought you had set a mark for your CG....I'm going with 192mm which converts to 7 9/16 inches. Let me know where you decide to set it and how it works for the first flights. All the video Ive seen shows this to be a great flying model.
