Dry Transfer Decal Source?
 

Looking for a source for scale dry transfers for jets & warbirds - insignia, lettering, nomenclature, etc. Seems Aeroloft is out of business. Any leads appreciated.

Looking for Dry Transfer Decals, Bob, not vinyl stickers - but thanks for the reply!

I know Callie makes decals. I thought she made dry transfers as well.
Pro Mark makes them. I've used them. Not sure if he has what you are looking for. Give him a look.

I seem to remember asking her a few years ago about water slides and dry transfers and she said that she only offers vinyl self-adhesive sets.

I dont think the graphics are stickers or else it wouldnt be recommended you clear coat over them.
Instructions are for wet or dry application. Im certainly going to install mine dry once they arrive.

I knew about Callie-graphics, was curious about Pro Mark
I have another couple of sources for graphics as well but they primarily do hydroplane graphics that are made to be clear coated over. Then again, my boats run on 50% nitro fuel so just about any decals or graphics I use would need to be protected from that

Ooooh, do some research on that, mate. Callie makes very high quality vinyl decals for all types of applications. If you are going to apply them over very smooth (shiny) surfaces, I would advise against applying them dry. You will not be able to get the air bubbles out & wrinkles will be permanent. I apply vinyl decals by first cleaning the area with Windex (Windowlene) or soap & water, then wet the application area with the same solution & apply the decal. Use a squeegee and paper towels to rub out the wrinkles & air bubbles moving from the center outward. As you rub more of the cleaner/lubricant out from under the decal, it will slip and slide less and eventually stop moving.

Pretty sure Pro Mark is out of business. Try Red5 Designs. Great people and they do fantastic work.

Thanks Tony, I'll give them a shout. No response from ProMark as of today. Somebody's paying their web hosting service - the site is still live.

I am about 99% sure I read a few months ago that Pro Mark closed their doors. I’ve used Callie in the past but I think Red5 Designs has a slight edge in quality over Callie’s stuff. Not bashing Callie at all, she is also great to work with.

I dont take chances, so I'll go with wet method (also familiar with it from my Airfix days)
