Adding Panel Lines to Monocoat

So, I have seen a "panel line pen" that Tower Hobbies sells. It is basically a fine tip permanent black marker pen. I am wondering how some of you add panel lines? If anyone has used this pen and how it ended up looking? Any tips? I will be applying the lines to aluminum color Monocoat.

ProMark has dry transfer panel lines, hatches etc.

I was thinking of trying them on monokote.
I have the pen, and have viewed the results on other aircraft.
It is OK, better than nothing and does add to the character of the plane.
I'm just looking for a little more realism when using monokote.

Their web is pro-mark.com

take a look ... see what you think.

The "Panel Line" pen lines will turn red and fade in the sun after a couple of months, even with a clear coat. You might try some drafting, or art pens with India ink. They seem to hold up well. just make sure you remove any mistake quick, because after it dries, its very hard to remove.

A tip! If you colour your panel lines an off shade from the colour you are using they will look more realistic. Such as, with aluminum, use a lighter grey or darker grey for the lines. They don't look so obtrusive. More subtle.
