World models GS ZERO FIGHTER

Hi everyone!

I have just finished the giant scale zero from world models. It's a very nice flying and looking aircraft, powered with os 160 FX.
My only concern for the time being is the mechanical retracts provided in the kit. Not only it is not looking very nice it is also working very badly and needs constant tuning. I am considering replacing it with pneumatics.
Is anyone having the same problems, and any idea what retracts could easily fit in this plane?
Badly need a little help.[&:]
Thank's.

Century Jet makes a set of pneumatic retracts that practically drop in. That's the ones I used on the model shown on the cover of the August 2004 R/C REPORT Magazine. Full review in that issue.

Be very careful when balancing this plane. I used a Zenoah G-38 engine rather than the 2 pounds of lead needed to balance the Zero with an OS 160.

Dick do you think something heavier like the Moki 2.10 might be a good alternative to the 1.60fx?

Dear Dick

Thank you very much for your help, i'll check on century jet's, you are right about the 160 fx, i had to stick an amazing quantity of wheel balancing lead in the cowling.
