Spitfire by World Models

Anyone flying the World Models version of Spitfire (.40-.60 size) ARF? If so, how does it fly and do the retracts hold up well?

Had one, and it flew great. Retracts held up well on grass for over 50 flights. Grease in your landings, and you won't have a problem.

Tailskid,

It flies great and I still have it. I wasn't at all satisfied with the workmanship though. I completely stripped it, went through it and scaled it up. Many many modifications on this one. I doubt I'll be buying another world models ARF for awhile. I got an ARF because it was the beginning of flying season and I wanted to get into the air with a 60 size warbird in a reasonably short time. I fixed the quality issues and found myself dissatisfied with the fact that the flaps were supposed to be split flaps, the gear was too short and too wide, and the canopy was all wrong! Anyway here's the result.
