Robarts in TF P47

I am building the TF P47 1/7 scale. I have the Robart struts with offset oleos. Does anyone out there have pictures of their install? I am having a very difficult time getting them to fit into the wing so I can also add the doors.

Not sure you can get the doors to fit flush on the 1/8 scale P-47. I have had my 1/8 scale P-47 for 8 years and what I did was to bend some 1/32 ply to the shape of the wing then fiberglass it and attach it to the strut. Looks ok and fits snuggly to the wing.

You might check out http://www.top-flite.com/techsupport/topa0415tech.html

It has the update on the 1/6 scale P-47.

Been there, tried that. Doors will not fit flush, I would do as RW says and model one paper thin out of fiberglass.

Thanks RW and Falcon, I think that is my only option.
