Verithane clear
I have been following the threads on clear coats I have used Nelson and Perfect clears but I am looking for another way. I am not crazy about the health hazards of automotive clears and I don't want spray can clear. My question is the solvent based Verithane glow fuel proof with 10% nitro? some are saying yes some are saying no?

Poly clears
As far as I can tell all of the solvent (oil, not water) based polyurethane clears are completely fuel proof to at least 15% (I've checked). The one BIG drawback is that they will definitely yellow. Try thinning and spraying light coats to minimize this but it will yellow whatever color you spray it over, some more than others, of course.

Verithane clear
I don't mind the yellowing I spray it over mostly dark colors on WW2 airplanes, but that's what I want to know thanks
