RONNY CHIZEK FROM UPSTATE NEW YORK BUILT ONE ABOUT FIVE YEARS AGO. I SAW IT FLY WITH G-45'S. IT HAD PLENTY OF POWER. ITS A BIG TWIN. THE ENGINES ARE FAR APART. WOULD BE A HANDFUL WITH ONE ENGINE OUT. I WOULD'NT RECOMMEND GLOW ENGINES. I BELEIVE IT HAD ROBART RETRACTS. IT WAS OLIVE DRAB WITH A BUG OR A FLY ON THE NOSE.NICE LOOKING AIRCRAFT, BUT THEN RON IS A QUILITY BUILDER AND TOPGUN CONTESTANT.

A guy that flies at my club built one this spring. He done it in three months.I know you probably think Im wrong on the time, but that's about right. It was the Don Smith version.I think it was 118" but I am not sure on that.He mounted two O.S. 160fx's on it.It flew really good.He recently sold it to a guy in California here on rcu.I had it listed and also had pictures if you can do a search and find them.If you want to contact me I will be glad to give you his number for you to contact. He is a great guy.Tivey

Hi. A few months ago I and a friend of mine we started to build a Bf-110 from Don Smith plans (118"). The engines are 3W 60's , retracts came from Century Jet and the wheels with brakes from Glennis. As we want to be a full scale project we add fuctional slats and proceed with dropping bombs , lights , even sound from the guns. So any suggestions or opinion are welcome. Oh..! That's my first twin!!! ... |

David Voglund of Radcliffe , Ky. is flying one in competition. I think he is using Laser 150 4 strokes.
I've seen it fly - looks good in the air. Dorin Luck |
