Robart speed control

I have a Robart speed control valve on my Robart retract system. All three gear work up and down properly, but, in one direction the speed control works perfect, in the opposite direction the exhaust valve on the speed control will leak until my tank is empty. What do I need to do to remedy this? I have rebuilt the control valve and I tried a brand new valve, they both do this.

I would suggest you contact Robart and ask them. It sounds as if you might have another problem and maybe not the valve..

I would say you either have a bad seal in one of your cylinders or a hole / leak in one of your lines somewhere.

OMG, I have found such bad air leaks, I mean holes, and I could not hear them, I checked the parts under water, whew, looked like a fish tank so many bubbles. Time to replace/rebuild everything. Sigh, she won't be flying this weekend :(
