Hey Guys,
Im runnin a .46 World Models Mustang with a YS1.10 and my weakass starter wont turn the prop.

Also, my *new* battery in my field box will not charge. Ive charged it for 35-ish hours.

Any idea's on what i can do, what a good starter for a big engine like the YS110?

Thanx,
Nik

P.S. - When i do get it started *on someone else's setup* the thing is a BEAST!!!!! RRRRRAAAAAWWWWWRRRRR

Not sure what charger you are using but the battery should charge right up. What is tha amp hour rating of the battery? What is the charge rate of the charger? Thanks Dave

Here is what I use. A Hangar 9 'Super Starter' with a gell cell attached. I got the cell at Interstate batteries. It is still working after many years. It is heavy, but freshly charged, it will start a YS 1.40.

I would use your car batt and see if it is in fact the starter or the little batt that is dead.
