Current draw...
Hello All,
I have a situation that I need some advice on... As most of you know, I am building (seems like forever, I know...) a 60 sized TF P51B. I have a RCS 140RE ready to go in the nose and I have a new Futaba 6XAS radio for it. I will be using 5 regular servos, 1 HT servo (flaps) and 1 micro servo (LG). I have a Sanyo 1200mAH, 4.8 V NiCad pack and the regular 600mAH, 4.8 V pack that came with the radio. What kind of current do you think my radio setup will be pulling? RCS says the 140 could pull a max 600mA at full throttle. Should I go with the 1200mAH on the engine and the 600mAH on the radio or will the radio be pulling too much? What do you think? As always, thank you. Justrfb (checking all my options) |

I have a setup very similar to yours, but I am going with a 1400mAH on each. In my experience 600 mA does not have enough capacity for this size project. Contact Evan he has a lot of experience with RCS140 and probably he can give a better advice.
