e Sachs 3.2 prop question

I just bought a byron p-47 with a Sachs 3.2 and I want to put a more scale 3 blade prop on it. It currently is spinning a 22/10 2 blade prop. Any advice on what 3 blade prop would be right? Thanks - not sure if there is a rule of thumb on how to know, but again, any advice would be appreciated.

thanks

rule of thumb is usually 1' down in pitch or length. 22/9 or 21/10. your problem will be in findin a prop. Try Solo, they will have what you need , just be prepared to pay for it....but if it is just for looks. Byron used to have a 4 blade for the P47 but it was to be used on the 4.2

A three blade will not be any "more" scale than a 2 blade. P-47s never used 3 blades. A "scale" 4-blade would need to be 26"-28" in diameter. Don't believe you will ever find a 4-blade that will look correct and still fly the aircraft.
Here's the one I used to have. that 4-blade is just for static display. It's 26" in diameter.

jmclain001 , Scale or not so scale, its your call . If you want a 3 blade to replace your 2 blade and are happy with the rpm range you currently have .
Drop 1" in diameter and increase 1" in pitch for a reasonably close match . You probably wont find a 11" pitched prop so a 21x12 would be the closest match to
your current 2 blade prop.
