remote glowplug igniter
 

can anyone help me im trying to install a
switch to turnon my glowplug a start my motor
i have a p51 mustang and i cant get the clipon
igniter to go up in the cowling far enough
has anyone ever tried it

check out sullivan products, they make glow systems that will do what you want.
i've made them before using a remote glow driver from hanger 9, use a C battery box from radio shack, and either a switch to turn off or i used a micro switch and set it up so that when you pull your throttle back it turns on your glow.
there are some on the market that plug into your reciever and actually pull off your reciever pack and are set up using your computer radio. expensive but less work to set up.
