CMP Spitfire Maiden...

Well today turned out a very nice day so maidened my CMP Spitfire... all went well.

Takeoff was a little scary but as soon as i gained some height it only needed about 2 clicks down trim and 4 clicks left aileron.

It flies well BUT it need lots of speed on landing.

Turns require speed or else it drops a wing ....definitely not a slow landing bird..

The YS 63 pulls it round with ease.... 1/2 throttle is more than enough unless you want very unrealistic flight speeds..

Congratulations on the Maiden!! It really looks the part in the air!!

Does anyone have any suggestions on what covering to use to repair a wing on my CMP Spit?
