Pilot RC 50cc Hellcat
Look what I found! A 50cc Hellcat. Pilot-RC is the manufacturer but I think the purist will cry foul on many of the design issues or lack there of. A 50cc Warbird that can hover and fly like a decent banshee? Might be a winner

Damn, I've never seen a 50cc warbird of any type hover like this one. Check out the video at Pilot web site. I'll get one for sure if it's reasonable.
But I have to agree it needs a better paint job. |

Why in the world would anyone want to hover a hellcat! Ya, I know because you can. But what's this fascination with hovering, even with a 3D model for that matter. I would really rather see some real flying whether it be warbird low passes and warbird aerobatics or fly a 3D type model through some real IMAC routines. And yes it's got to be the worst looking hellcat I have ever seen!

I'm wondering if it is possible to get a smaller wheel on this airplane.

RE: Pilot RC 50cc Hellcat
Hey guys,
Remember this is an ARF warbird. I've always expected ARF warbirds to be sport scale. When I wanted scale warbirds, I went out and bought a couple Ziroli P40's and a Brian Taylor spitfire. I do enjoy flying 3D planes and warbirds, and so far have had to bring one plane of each type to the field. This plane gives me the option of bringing only one to the field. That is coool... I understand some warbird fliers do not fly 3D and don't care for a warbird that can 3d, and that's ok too. |
