60 Size Rotating Electric Retracts????
 

Is Lado the only company that makes a 60 size 90 degree rotating electric retract? I have been searching but cannot find any. I see that Eflight makes a 60 size electric NON rotating, but that does not fit what I need.

As far as I know, Magnum (importer of the "new" LADOs) are it. I'm certain that Horizon is working on 60-120 size rotating retracts though as we speak. I need a set for my TF P-40 ARF but Magnum is still out of stock. I have six sets of LADOs and I really like them.

I also just got my set of ESM retracts modified by Down and Locked and will be installing them in my P-47 shortly. They look very nice as well, so if you already have rotating retracts (air or mechanical), check into having DAL convert them for you.

I saw that Magnumrc is out of stock, they look like a great system but who knows when they will get more in. I was hoping there was another option out there but it does not look good. I do not have retracts worth converting so I guess if I want electric retracts I have to play the waiting game. Until then the warhawk collects dust :(

Those are nice looking, I am trying to get away from the hassle of mechanical and air though. If electric do not become avalible in the near future I will go with these over mechanical.

I spoke with the manufacturer of Lado's (in France) about a week ago. Magnum should have everything back in stock in aout a week or so. Otherwise, you can always order direct from Lado. He'll ship them from France and they usually arrive in about 3-4 days (really).

Just got an email from Magnum... LADOs are IN STOCK NOW.

I ordered my set for my TF P-40 ARF.

According to the message, they didn't get as many sets in as they wanted so better order soon!

TODAY I find out that Magnum is back in stock !!

YESTERDAY they were out, so I ordered from France, from the LADO website.

This week, I'll find out how fast shipping from France will be.

They are in stock at Magnum and in France (orders through the LADO website are filled in France).

My order was made on the 8th.
It looks like your order was made on the 9th.

I know. I've got them in the F6F just completed, and pre-french ones in P47, Corsair, and Spitfire.

Is that the H9? I was wondering if they were a drop in fit, or if you had to do any mods/wood removal?

Wood removal? Yup. And the wood was the lower spar.

So I made a ply/CF/ply sandwich and cut out a couple of U braces to epoxy in where the spar was removed.
